Film Poster:
These film posters I have looked at have either a close up of the face of the actor/s or a medium shot of the actor/s always looking towards the camera. The top three then have the a location or setting at the bottom of the actors, and then also below the actor/s is the title of the film, this is typically centred. They also contain the names of some of the actors and it also credits people in the production. I have also noticed that they usually have a filter, some being monochrome and then others being a hue like red or blue.
The DVD covers have 3 sides, the front cover, spine and back cover. The front cover typically resembles a film poster from before the DVD cover (as seen by the 'Shutter Island' and 'The Silence of the lambs' film posters), the composition may have have changed a little when transitioning to DVD cover. The spine always has the title in the centre of the spine, it then has an image of either the actor/s or the front cover. Finally, the back cover always have a blurb a few images and a few other typical information such as duration and credits. The overall DVD cover is usually dark toned with the text (mainly the blurb) being white.
Website banners can be very similar to film posters, it has the trailer to one side and then some of the elements from the film posters to the side.
