The film poster is a poster that advertises the film, having an image, name/logo, sometimes reviews, cast and a release date.The DVD cover usually resembles the film poster, or it can be entirely different, the back of the cover has a blurb that summarises the story and has a few more images and the spine always has the title/ logo of the film and age rating (which is also on the front). The T-shirt is apart of merchandise and usually has the name/logo of the film on it. The magazine/newspaper ad also usually pastiches the film poster, but has maybe more detail such as the ratings. The website page is a website dedicated to the film and usually has the trailer and name/logo of the film, but also a few images from the film and information. The website banner is a minimised and simple version of the film poster, it also may have the trailer and a way of booking tickets for the film. The Billboard poster is a much bigger version of the film poster and is in a landscape orientation. A bus poster is like the billboard poster, but may have some bits cut off to fit onto the ad area of the bus (mostly on double decker buses). I will be doing the DVD cover, film poster and website banner for my graphic design package.
